Fat BOMB.

FAT? BOMB?

No… like a serious explosion of flavors galore.

What is a bomb? It’s basically a high fat snack that will help keep you in a state of what is called ketosis, where your body becomes fat-adapted rather than glucose-adapted; you burn energy more efficiently through fat.

On this high fat diet, desserts are not missed. Why? There are so many alternative flours, sweeteners, spices, and other such ingredients that make the ketogenic diet actually enjoyable. Think about it: eating high fat foods and having an exorbitant amount of energy and brain power while burning excess fat off of your body!

This brings me to what a bomb is: a high fat treat to help stave off hunger and keep you going throughout the day. Or a treat that tastes like dessert, but without the sugar crash or cravings, where eating it feels like cheating, but is actually good for your body!

Here’s one I just discovered last night and LOVED it:
Ingredients
2 Tbsp peanut butter (or nut/seed butter alternative, without added sugar)
1 Tbsp coconut oil (makes it super creamy!)
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cacao powder
dash celtic sea salt (optional)
Directions
Mix all ingredients together.
Eat straight or form into two balls and freeze for later.
SIMPLE. CHEAP. DELICIOUS.

What more can you ask for? What cravings are you trying to satisfy?
