You asked: What can you do to actually improve liver health?
I always say start with the basics: FOOD. It’s safe, fun, and easy.
Are you eating fatty foods like fried foods or ice cream? Alcohol and a lot of caffeine? Processed foods and oils that are damaging to the body? First, you need to remove these from your meals. They’re inflammatory and cause too many problems.
Then, you need to find the better options and USE them!
Some of my top choices are
- Lemon Juice: Whether freshly squeezed or organic lemon juice from the store.
- Apple Cider Vinegar: With the MOTHER! Make sure this is organic, too.
- Celery Juice: Freshly juiced or stocked up for 3-4 days to save on time.
These can all be a filtering aid to the liver, in a very mild way. There are always much deeper (oftentimes necessary) cleanses, but these are a great place to start.
